Last updated July 25, 2004. The Southwest Section "Spring 1998 Newsletter" (it actually identified itself as the Spring 1998 Tournament Schedule) was mailed in very late December 1997. Although an original electronic copy of the newsletter might still exist, its whereabouts are unknown. It appears never to have been on the Section Web site (either the current one or its predecessor). All that is definitely available is a printed copy, scans of the printed copy, and conversion of the scans back into electronic text. Proofreading of the transcription would be appreciated. Report any discovered errors to the Webmaster.
