This page indexes various information derived from the USFA Web site, or e-mail messages to Division and/or Section Officers, available here for convenience.
Data
- National tournament results
-
The newer tournament results have been taken from the current USFA Web site. Older tournament results, which are not yet on the current USFA Web site were taken from the old USFA Web site. Occasionally, the most recent tournament results available here have happened so recently that the USFA Web site does not yet have the data.
- USFA age restrictions
-
This consolidated information about birth date restrictions for the various age categories of competitions is
generally taken from the USFA's Athlete Handbook and its predecessor, the Athlete Programs Handbook.
- 2006 JO Automatic Qualifiers
-
This list is the late November list of fencers already determined by the USFA to be automatic qualifiers for the 2006 Junior Olympic Championships. Note that the December Division I NAC can add more automatic qualifiers to Junior events, and the January Cadet/Junior NAC can add more automatic qualifiers to Cadet and Junior events. The USFA plans to revise this list after the January NAC, and may or may not publish a revision after the December NAC.
- 2006 Summer Nationals Automatic Qualifiers
-
This list is the April 28 list of fencers already determined by the USFA to be automatic qualifiers for the 2006 Summer Nationals. There are no more national or international events which would result in additional automatic qualifiers. (This list includes only fencers who automatically qualified through national and international fencing. It is also possible to become an automatic qualifier for one event by qualifying for a different event at a divisional or sectional qualifier, or by being the winner of a sectional qualifying event. Such fencers are not included. The junior fencers in the Southwest Section who qualified for Division IA by winning sectional qualifiers are already identified as such in the results of the 2006 Sectionals.)

Search
- Search USFA Web Site
-
The old USFA Web site had a function (utilizing Google) to search the USFA Web site. No such function has appeared (yet?) on the new USFA Web site. Here is a Google search of the USFA Web site. (Caution: Google still "finds" a lot of hits on its saved copies of "USFA Web site" pages from back before the introduction of the new Web site. If you try to display a Google hit at www.usfencing.org, and the Web site announces there is no such page, there is something you can try. Change "www.usfencing.org" to "oldsite.usfencing.org" and try to display the page again. If that works, you were looking at an old hit predating the new site. This won't help you find something which really should be somewhere on the new site, but seeing the page as it appears, moved to the old site, is better than nothing!)
- Search Old USFA Web Site
-
As long as the old USFA Web site is still available (at the changed
URL http://oldsite.usfencing.org/), it might be handy to be able to search the
old site. You cannot use the search function on the old Web site, because it is built to search the site
called "http://www,usfencing.org/" — which is now the new, not the old, Web site! So, here's a Google search function which actually does search the old Web
site. (Caution: Google may not yet have finished "discovering" the entire old Web site.)
