General Meeting of the Southwest Section of the USFA

Register domain name southwestfencing - motion
David Burns issue.
Collect section head tax from 1998 CCO fro David Burns.
USFA cannot collect money. Section responsible.
General membershop voted no to pursue this issue any farther.
Section Circuit
Refer to EC for review.
Operation of head tax collection.
I.e., club & division treasurers responsible for collection
or hosting division pre-deposit head tax for next circuit.
Moved to refer operations to incoming EC
RYC report by Mike Kline
Successful year for youth fencing.
Attendance at the circuit has improved.
Participation from all divisions is low.
RYC now host Y10 events though they are not official events.
Development of youth sabre has problems of cost and training
issues.
Any club wishing to host RYC event contact Mike Kline.
Concerning schedule conflict at early 2000 season.
RYC coordinator were improperly informed of EC decision.
It was moved to suggest that EC ask for finacial report from RYC by
next season. - passed
